Greetings!
I have been in practice for 20 years. Some of the reasons why people seek counseling with me are to develop feelings of safety, cognitive reframing, how to handle life adjustments, stress management and emotional regulation. Psychotherapy, Brainspotting, and Somatic Therapy are powerful tools to help you navigate life's challenges and foster personal growth.
Psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, you will gain insight into your patterns, learn coping strategies, and work towards emotional healing.
Brainspotting is an innovative therapy that taps into the brain’s natural ability to heal. By focusing on specific eye positions, this method allows you to access and process deep-seated trauma and emotional pain, leading to profound shifts in your mental well-being.
Somatic Therapy emphasizes the connection between mind and body. This approach recognizes that trauma and stress can manifest physically. By incorporating body awareness and movement, Somatic Therapy helps release tension and promotes overall mind-body healing.
Combined, these therapies provide a holistic approach to mental health, addressing emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of well-being. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, these therapeutic modalities can guide you toward greater resilience, clarity, and fulfillment. Take the first step toward healing and empowerment—consider integrating Psychotherapy, Brainspotting, and Somatic Therapy into your journey today.
We can work through stress from conflicts in relationships, parenting, alcohol & drug coping mechanisms , grief, women’s and men’s health issues including sugar addiction, cardiac issues, cancer, chronic pain, postpartum depression, menopause, & eating or exercise addictions.

What you can expect when working with me. Most importantly, we will work collaboratively in a very safe, nonjudgemental & supportive environment. What I like to educate my clients about is how to become more observant of their feelings & behaviors, as well, as the behaviors & patterns of those surrounding you to help with gaining more insight as to why others may be acting as they do and what kind of healthier responses can you administer to foster growth and healing. We will look at how you interact, the why & how this may impact your family members, significant others, friends & colleague relationships. You will gain ways of how to respond in a more healthy manner & have healthier boundaries when necessary. You will learn how to change your limited mindset to a growth mindset & how limited beliefs may impact daily life & overall decision making. Next, you will practice implementing healthier ways of dealing with stressful events. You will be educated on problem-solving techniques in order to navigate challenges more effectively. Finally, you may expand your knowledge of somatic & mindfulness exercises to better regulate your nervous system and in turn this will assist you in remaining more calm in stressful environments.
Are their areas you’d like to grow in? Are you feeling stuck? Is your nervous system stuck in fight or flight or fawn? Brainspotting can help to work on enhancing your strengths and performance. We can access positive desired outcomes, confidence, feeling centered and in the flow. We can work together to enhance your creativity and performance in sports. Brainspotting & Internal Family Systems allows you to access different parts of you that will help allow you to expand. Brainspotting can also help to desensitize you to particular memories that may be negatively impacting your decision making abilities or the ability to make progress in your life. Brainspotting can assist you in optimal functioning on a daily basis.
I’m offering virtual services right now. Please feel free to book a consultation. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
This therapy focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. It aims to identify and modify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to psychological distress or maladaptive functioning.
The fundamental principle of CBT is that our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors. In other words, it’s not the situations themselves that directly cause our emotional and behavioral responses, but rather our interpretation and perception of those situations. By identifying and challenging negative or distorted thoughts, individuals can develop more realistic and adaptive thinking patterns, leading to improved emotional well-being and more effective behaviors. .

Trauma Therapy/ Brainspotting
Regulating the nervous system is a crucial component of counseling, especially for individuals who have experienced trauma or chronic stress. The nervous system plays a significant role in how we respond to and cope with challenging situations. When the nervous system is dysregulated, it can lead to difficulties in managing stress, heightened anxiety and emotional instability.
In therapy, we can explore various techniques to regulate the nervous system such as deep breathing exercises, grounding techniques, mindfulness practices, reiki and relaxation strategies. Brainspotting can provide relief to trauma memories and help desensitize you to these memories and lessen the impact of hurtful relationships & situations that you have undergone. These tools help individuals develop self-awareness, cultivate resilience, and restore a sense of balance & calm in their lives.

Structural Family Therapy
SFT is an approach developed by Salvador Minuchin, a renowned family therapist. SFT focuses on exploring and addressing the overall structure and organization of a family system to promote healthier functioning and improved relationships among family members.
In Structural Family Therapy, the therapist views the family as a complex system with interconnected parts and analyzes how these parts interact and influence one another. The primary goal is to identify and modify problematic patterns and hierarchies within the family structure that contribute to dysfunction and conflicts.
SFT is a short term, solution focused approach that restructures the family system, promoting clear communication, and fostering healthier boundaries and relationships.

Together we can explore the impact of past relationships and experiences on one’s well-being. By examining both childhood and adulthood relationships, we can gain insights into patterns and dynamics that may have influenced your current emotional and psychological state. Understanding the influence of early relationships, such as those with parents or caregivers can shed light on attachment styles, core beliefs, and coping mechanisms developed during that time. These experiences can shape our perceptions of ourselves and others, impacting our ability to form healthy relationships in adulthood. Through therapy, we can delve into these past experiences and work towards healing and growth.
